I watched LA Ink yesterday, and had this sudden urge to do Kat von D inspired makeup.
So I did some searching with Google, and came across this photo:
I got inspired by the makeup, but I wanted to add my own twist to it again.
And here's how it turned out:
WHAT?
- MAC Painterly p/p
- Gosh Black Ink eye pencil
- UD Oil Slick e/s
- MAC Off the Page e/s
- Ben Nye Aztec Gold pigment
- Pure Luxe OMG/ BftE Addicted
- Ben Nye Ice pigment
- Ben Nye Iced Gold pigment
- Wet'n'Wild Megaliner
- Mascara
- False lashes
And here's how it's done:
HOW?
First prime your eye. I used MAC Painterly paint pot. Then line your eye with black eyeliner pencil. Make it thick:
Blend the black pencil with black eyeshadow, I used UD Oil Slick. Blend only the outer half of the lid:
Add MAC Off the Page to the inner half of the lid. Then add some light gold (I used Ben Nye Aztec Gold) to the inner corner of the eye:
Then the rust/red eyeshadow. I though that the Pure Luxe OMG/ BftE Addiction e/s is great for this one. Blend it upwards from the crease, and make it higher from the inner corner of the eye:
(I forgot the take pic at this step, so don't get confused.)
Take some NYX Jumbo pencil Milk and add it under your brow. Then add some highlight color on top of it, remember to blend well. Blend also the red in well.
Line your upper and lower lash line with black pencil:
Blend the black lower lashline with the red eyeshadow you used, and add some black eyeshadow if the blending is too harsh. Line also your waterline with black:
This is how it should look like now:
Then finally add really thin line to upper lashline with liquid eyeliner, and do a really thin wing to outer corner. Add mascara and the "tattoos" if you want, and you're done:
And picture overload:
( I love this photo <3 )
Full face with black wig:
And with a stupid pose and own hair (which needs to be dyed, I know :3 ) :
I guess all I can say after this is:
BLEND BLEND BLEND, THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO!
:P
PS.
your eyes look better :o
