Still Alive

Hola!
It's been a lazy week again so I really haven't got the energy to update :P

But here's my day before yesterday's look, made with a BUNCH of different products, ie. Aromaleigh Green Hell, Pure Luxe Pandora, MUFE Starpowder #58 & #20, Inglot pure pigment #84, MAC Deep Blue Green... I can't really remember all :D

And my yesterday's makeup was inspired by machines, especially GLaDOS from Portal:
"You're not even going the right way. Hello? Is anyone there?"

"I'm going to kill you, and all the cake is gone."

"You should have turned left before. It's funny, actually, when you think about it."

"Someday we'll remember this and laugh- and laugh- and laugh- Ohhh Boyyy. Well, You may as well come on back."

And there's no full face shot, 'cos I still think that grays/silvers don't suit me :3

But here's my nails:
ModelsOwn Gray Day (love <3<3) 3D flowers from Ebay.

Then a word about Inglot's under makeup base.
I received a sample of it on my latest Inglot visit, and I finally managed to use it.
It's  a clear primer, and it mattes your skin and makes the skin look softer and more flawless.
Compaired to my HG, MSCHIC's Face Canvas, this was a bit thicker and this wasn't so easy to apply into face.
It really made my skin look matte, and it made my skin feel smoother and look good too, but I still prefer MSCHIC Face Canvas.

And yes yes yes yes, Gaga's new video, Alejandro is finally out!The makeup in the video isn't really inspiring, but all the other stuff is.
So of course I was inspired by everything else, especially the binocular head piece Gaga wears in the beginning of the song.
Here's what happens when I get inspired:
I will do the makeup look from the video too, as soon as I have the time. Maybe with tutorial, if you want?

Gaagaaauulaaalaaaa

Hello!

MakeupGeek has Lady Gaga inspired weekly challenge, and I fianlly decided to to a look for it.

We all know that Gaga lover her sunglasses (if you can even call then SUNGLASSES, they are so tuned out :D).
I had this CRAAAAAZY idea of making makeup sunglasses with sequins, glitter and black, and here's the end result:

Should I make a record?
The bow is actually made from another wig, so it's really that big!

And here's without the wig:

And then my today's makeup:

YES, I have red eyebrows! And I actually liked them so much, I wore them out in public. :D
Look is made with 120 color palette.

My yesterday's look was unusual combination of colors, MAC Blue Flame and Heritage Rouge:

My yesterday's nails <3 :

I also found something I must have:

MAC Pearlglide eyeliner from Art Supplies collection:Undercurrent. It's the middle one in the swatch pic. I love it ;_;
Unfortunaltely I don't know if it's already released in Finland, is it sold out, ehen will it be available etc :/

Buuuut anyway.

Now I guess I'm of to bed :P

EDIT:

CHECK out my MSCHIC blog for this:

At the leopard's nest

Hello everyone!

Today I had a kinda busy day, I did a small makeover to my sister. She's over her 40's now, so this was the first time I did makeup for anyone older. It was quite fun to work with something complately different :D

But anyway, I made a look for fun for myself today!

Somebody (sorry, I just can't remember who it was :( ) asked me ages ago to do a look inspired by the leopard print, and now I finally did it.
This was really simple, and all you need is Manly 120 color palette, glitter (optional) and white and black eyeliner.
Here's the look:

Maybe some better pics? :D

Of course I paired it with BLACK lips:

And here's the colors I used:
Lid is metallic brown (in lower right corner), blending is done with darker golden shadow, highlight with lighter gold, and outer corner / outer V with black.
Then I drew some leopard spots, eyeliner and added some golden glitter, added falsies, and voilá, you're done :D

I also have to put a better pic of my nails:

This was my today's look:

And finally my yesterday's makeup, made with MAC pigments: MAC Emerald Green, MAC Deep Blue Green, Chartreuse and Aire de Blue, and MAC Gesso eyeshadow. Oh, and Gosh gold glitter eyeliner:

But yeah, that's it.

Tomorrow I'll head to the post office to send out my blogsale goodies, and... Well I don't know what else :D

Gosh! Poker her face, quick!

Hola again!

My twitter followers may already know that I made another Gaga look today, this time from Pokerface video.

I was actually inspired by my Gosh effect powders, I haven't used them in a long time, and I decided to use them.
And I have to admit that I still love them. They are the next best loose eyeshadows after MAC pigments. And Ben Nye is good too.

But anyway, here's my Gosh Pokerface look:

Here's a pic with a bit of manipulation, so it'll look the same as in the video ( skin blurred, color changed, mic added, as well as the screw to the cheek thing):

And of course, here's Gaga:

I used:
  • Gosh Love that Green Mint eyeshadow stick(lid)
  • Gosh Love that Ivory eyeshadow stick (highlight)
  • Gosh Paradise effect powder
  • Gosh Sea Me effect powder             = all mixed together to get the right shade (lid, crease)
  • Gosh Steel effect powder
  • Gosh Angel effect powder (highlight)
  • Gosh Holographic Silver effect powder (crease, outer corner)
  • Gosh Black Ink eye pencil (lower lashline)
  • MAC Blacktrack fluidline (upper lashline, waterline)
  • Gosh Wonder Volume mascara
  • MAC #34 false lashes
  • NYX  Terra Cotta Blush
  • MAC Sandy B + Gosh Darling on the lips
And then some unmodiefied pics:

 And closeups:

(You can see the Holographic Silver glitter in here quite well)

But anyway, I was actually quite happy with this.

PS. The cheek metal thing is actually made from household aluminium foil :D
