Tears and Pearls (and fudge!)

Hello!

It's been so hot in here, that I really haven't even used makeup lately.
Can you believe, I even stopped using foundation, because it would melt away anyway :P
Sama thing with eyeshadows, I've been using only neutrals, if any.
My makeup has pretty much have been just mascara and defined brows :P

And it's also been too hot to even play with makeup, but I managed to do this pearl look while back:

Then yesterday I watched Britain's Next Top Model, and there was a photoshoot against domestic violence.
It inspired me to do my own pictures:
No Jangsaras were harmed during the shoot
(I used MUFE flashcolors to create the black eye, then I sprayed some water to my eye to make my makeup look messed and some fake blood coming from the nose. )

That's about all I have done with makeup lately :S
I also managed to break my computer's graphic card (with Alice - Madness Returns <3), so I'm having a bit hard time to go through and editing my photos, which really isn't helping with my makeup block :P

But as a cheer up, I found an awesome company called British Fudge Company:

They sell fudge, all kind of fudge!
Like Death by Baileys, After Eight, Irish Coffee, Coconut Mint.... *drool*

And then some totally pointless photos of delicious fudge:

Lashing around!

Hola!

MUFE #92, Sleek bright blue from Circus palette, MAC Gesso, Wet'n'Wild purple Megaliner and Illamasqua Debonair pencil:

Then my look for saturday, I didn't go anywhere, so I made myself a late halloween look:

3D gel, fake blood and red + black color
GeekChic SIX over black base, NYX circe on lips

Then a look made with Stila Colorwheel palette:

And I had to take a picture of my lashes, I've been using DuLash lash growth about a month now, and I think my lashes are slightly longer and a lot fuller:

And last my yesterday's makeup, again with Stila Colorwheel palette (I think I'm falling in love with the palette,  it's easy to use, has lots of pigmented colors..):

I guess that's it!

Oh, and one more thing to my finnish readers:

Kiss'n'Touch 120 värin paletin voittaja on arvottu. Onni suosi josef11naa!
Kiitos kaikille osallistumisesta!

Masquerade Macabre

Hello, and thank you for the ideas and suggestions!

I'll try to write about photographing looks and about blending at some point, I've had a lot of requests of those :D

I got my Trucco Angel Face palette today, and so far I love it. I'll post pics and swatches later on in this post, but first I'm gonna show you a look I did today.

First of all I wanna warn you, the may not be suitable for small children, since this is a gore look.

But anyway, onwards to the look.

Making a mask has been on my list for a while now, but today I finally had the idea and inspiration.

I wanted to make a sort of "anti-mask", I wanted it to look like somebody ripped the mask AND skin away.
Well, things don't always go as you planned, and this became more of a burned skin mask than ripped off, but anyway. I still like the idea ;D

Here we go:

( Look contains liquid latex, vaselin, black & red eyeshadow and fake blood )

Then I paired the look with red and black lips:

Some details, how the "skin" is hanging:

Then to my new baby, the Sebastian Trucco Angel Face (Angel Eyes?) palette:

Here's the palette closed:

Here it is open. Doesn't look like much, right? :

BUT check the swatches:
No base - NYX Black Bean jumbo pencil

I love them. I just totally love them.
We all may know that I have a weakness in duocromes and other oddities, and these just hit the spot.
Truly amazing <3

And of course I had to give them a try, and I made "angelic" makeup with it:

I love how they change color!

But I guess that's all again :D

Happy Halloween!

It's Halloween!

Today I did a quick Cleopatra look, it looked like this:

And here's a bad closeup of the makeup. Lashes are really black, but the light makes them look brown :/

And then my LOTD. Since it's Halloween today, it's a fantasy look:

Closeup of the makeup:

NYX jumbo pencil Cherry
Stargazer red e/s
NYX Glitterati Cream "red" glitter
MAC Polished Ivory pigm.
Lumene Natural Code eye pencil
Lumene Natural Code eyeliner
MF FLE mascara

And without wig and with glasses:

"OMG, it's a camera! How scary!"

THEN!!
I made Halloween makeup for two of my ex-husband's friends.

First there is A, who wanted dark post-apocalypse/cyber look. She had lots of fishnet on, so I did fishnet pattern on her face too. And since she had black clothes and blue hair (and silver nails) I did black/blue/silver makeup for her:

And from the side the texture goes like this:

And I also did her avec's makeup, he wanted a zombie look:

This was first time I did a zombielook using liquid latex, and I loved it *g*
I also did a "bite wound" in his arm:

Unfortunately it shines quite a lot in the picture, but it was pretty disgusting in real life.

I'm actually quite happy for everything I've done today!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL OF MY READERS!

Halloween inspiration!

I thought that since Halloween is almost here, I'd make  Halloween ispiration post.
I made a new Poison Ivy makeup yesterday, so I'm gonna show that AND some of my older fantasy/character/ other looks to (hopefully) inspire you for halloween!

Poison Ivy part II :

I wasn't really satisfied to my first Poison Ivy makeup, so I wanted to make another one.
I don't really know is the makeup really better. Probably not.
I mostly consentrated on using the liquid latex, and kinda forget the whole makeup thing.

So this was more of a whole style than makeup.

AND, the wig is a Deluxe Jessica Rabbit wig I have bought from a finnish carneval store called Punanaamio. Unfortunately they don't ship internationally, but there are many Jessica Rabbit wigs in ie. Ebay :)

And after I ripped the liquid latex off, I had this awfully cute texture on my face:

Then to the older ones:

(Heath Ledger's) Joker:

( scars made with Derma Wax)

Mermaid:

( blue wig is from eBay, and sequins are attached to Derma Wax)

Zombie:

 (just facepaint)

Devil:

(Grimas facepaint + Derma Wax on horns)

Beauty and the Beast:

( Makeup, facepaint and Derma Wax)

Mask:

(Sequins and makeup)

Decades:

Vampire:

( Tutorial for this one can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCrZxUTt_Ow .Wig from Ebay)

I hope that you'll find ispiration from these!
